Awakenings Ministries was formed in 2010 to share the love of God and the Good News of Jesus Christ with families in our community. In these current difficult times, we want to give families an opportunity to spend quality time together in a non-threatening environment.

Our mission is to give families an opportunity to “go out” together as a family or for a little mom and dad time. Whether it is to enjoy a free, restaurant – style meal, a free family-friendly movie with popcorn, or a free family-focused dance, we offer a way for families to get out and have fun with or without the kids.

• Frisbee Golf

The goal of Awakenings Ministries is to reach the community through ministering to the needs of the people, both physically and spiritually. To show God's love to the people of Elcho and the surrounding area while building a stronger sense of community with our neighbors.

Our future goals include:

1. The procurement of our own building in which we can hold these events.

2. The procurement of a 15-passenger van or small bus for trips and for picking up folks who want to attend our events.

3. The ability to provide emergency, short-term housing for families and individuals.

4. To provide skills training to assist in attaining a job.

5. To build a network of employers/businesses that will keep us up to date on available job opportunities.

6. To provide free pastoral counseling to couples and individuals.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a non-threatening place where people can have fun, feel loved, and come to know God.
